Shorne Woods Country Park - 16 January 2020

Seven members of the Walking Group visited Shorne Woods Country Park near Rochester.

The weather on the day was clear and bright with almost no wind. The ground conditions were varied, with some puddles on the gravel paths. The unmade paths were muddy and on the gradients were quite slippery.

We covered 1.9 miles on the Red Trail in a time that was slow, due to the conditions.

Shorne is a great location, with a number of different trails, we will return and try one of the longer trails next time.

Great little cafe serving home made flapjacks and cookies.

...and some souvenir photos of the day
