Crisis at Christmas

Crisis is the UK national charity for homeless people. The charity offers year-round education, employment, housing and well-being services from centres in London, Newcastle, Oxford, Edinburgh and Merseyside, called Crisis Skylight Centres.

Their need is especially poignant as Christmas approaches and many individuals and families have no contact on Christmas Day.

At Christmas 2018, the charity and its 12,300 volunteers provided:
  • Support to 4,676 guests
  • 35,957 meals
  • 778 health checks
  • 1,547 beds
  • 787 advice session
